37s (maybe taller) and either a DB just the bracket with some other goodies (I know a guy who wheels his really hard and it has held up fine don't give me to much hate) or SAS but not going all crazy rock crawler style links more of a streetable version like what the F250s and stuff run from the factory.

I like it! So are you just about gusseted eberywhere already and witha. Boxed frame? I heard that it’s fairly essential keeping the IFS even with DB

Boxed frame? the front 1/2 of our frame is already boxed or are you talking about plating it to add thickness bc our frames are pretty thin? Fairly essential?

Fairly essential meaning necessary to gussesting the shock buckets, spindles, and rear frame etc. I see some of the guys on the west coast gusseting the front of the frame also.(Plating it)

So if you are going to SAS you need to add thickness to the front frame rails where you will be attaching links suspension components etc. People gusset the spindles and everything without the DB. The thing with a DB is you get new spindles that are taller and depending on the brand they are stronger than stock gusseted spindles. I would have some really beefy custom skids made to help strengthen the DB. I will be gusseting the coilover mount but that is a good idea anyways because it puts the uca mount into double shear instead of single shear. I will be boxing the back of my frame at some point because I just don't like my frame to be a part of the suspension and want the suspension to do the work. I haven't decided what I want to do with the rear yet but in the end with a DB lift which is around 6" I'll still be lower than the avg SAS of 24" frame height. If I SAS I may go to a 26" frame height just for HC issues. the problem is to get any tire much bigger than 37s is you'll have to push the front axle even further forward. SMKYTXN is at 139+" WB when he did his that's only 5" less than ours and he's on 40s he had to push that front axle way forward and tub the shit out of the front fender wells and that just doesn't appeal to me.

I've been working on getting everything designed up and am weighing the options depends on how readily I can pick up some 06+ F250/350 f&r axles and if I can find a cheap beater for a daily while the truck is down otherwise it will be a DB to start. But I gotta get my armor straightened out first.
