Hi everyone! I new to the Tacoma world. I'm going to be doing my spark plugs here soon and since I have to take the ignition coils off I thought might as well upgrade my coils. I have found
TOYOTA TACOMA ACCEL Super Coils 140495-6 and it says it would fit a 05-12 but I have a 14? I don't think that the engine had changed since 12 but I wanted to ask before I spent the money. Thanks, guys.

Generally speaking, aftermarket coil packs don't hold a candle to OEM coil packs. And anybody who says new coil packs are going to improve your performance - if yours are indeed ok - is full of it. Save your money until one craps out.

The coils are designed to work with a specific kind of plug (copper). Stick with the stock Denso plugs (K20HR-U11)

I replaced my OEM plugs at 30K with Iridium so I won’t have to change them for at least 100K. Can tell zero difference in performance.
