LOL! Might not be a bad idea... I actually have something in mind to try tonight after my soccer game already, or I would probably do what you just said right now.

Someone hooked me up with something that I have never heard of, from CA!

 

I tied some fishing line to it when I did mine. Once I set it in the groove it was pretty stable and I was able to cut the line and thread the puller rod with no problems.

I went to Loudon with my son a bunch of years ago. We camped so haunt out at the track at night. It was raining this night so we rode the trams around for a while, this one guy was being nice and offered my a "beer" and I said no thanks. My son looks at me, and said dad you like beer, why didn't you take it. I told him folks have different definitions of beer, and ours didn't agree.
