(SOLD OUT) Discounted Price on TRD Pro Suspension Kit

Exactly what I'm doing and why.

 

Browsing through the two active TRD pro suspension threads there were quite a few people with GeneralSpring HD packs and Wheelers 5 leaf HD packs.

 

I asked this because my 2015 TRD PRO has 27,000 miles on it.....and YES I did buy the TRD PRO shock kit Part # PTR13-35150 and was considering selling the kit if in fact I may not actually need it for a long time......

 

Found these for $75. 1500 miles on them. So probably aal for me.

 

I bought the same thing yesterday for $80 ... AAL for me, just want something cheap to get 1" and a bit more load capacity.

 

Anyone with 2nd gen, trd pro kit, general springs, and otherwise stock (no camper tops, after market bumpers, etc) have pics and measurements? Curious about the rake.

 

I’ll have my leafs done the weekend. Doing the ECGS bushing and front next weekend.

 

Awesome! Can't wait to see. Got my shocks but waiting to pull the trigger on springs depending on the outcome from trucks like yours. I over analyze everything so always appreciate the guys that can just pull the trigger.

 

Ha. I’ve done a lot of research on the pro suspension over the years. I hope the general springs lift like the medium duty dakars. I thought the Dakar’s would be too much lift in the rear, but all the install pics I’ve seen look really good. I’ll post some before and after pics when done. The is my truck as it sits now pre lift.

 

So 3rd gen oem leaf pack is comparible on 2nd gens, correct? Wish I have deals like that here. I see one old rusty '06 pack for $350 and what looks like a fairly fresh recall 3+1 takeoff pack for $700 from '09.

 

I'm in the same boat, progressive AAL w/o OL or General Spring HD. Both say 1.5" lift. Leaning toward the new leaf packs since I'll have the suspension apart anyway.

 

I plan to install my TRD PRO kit the first week of April along with an icon progressive AAL. I inquired my local dealer service manager about the price of an alignment ($95). I told him what I was doing and he replied with that price and asked if the kit came with new alignment specs. I haven't opened the box yet so I'm not sure. I'd assume being a Toyota dealer, they'd be able to figure that out though..

Caster As high as possible!

Ideally you would get +2 caster or better. +2.2 or 2.5 would be nearly perfect in my opinion, especially if you want to run larger tires. But it's unlikely you will get higher than 2

I ordered a set, but the place I ordered from has fallen off the map apparently and I haven’t heard anything.

 

Where is the suggested place to get the general leaf packs? and are there different models for 2014 like a heavy duty?

This is really interesting. They’re 2 hours away from me - might be worth a trip over. Do they make a quality product?
