There is also a Marcos in Orangevale. I didn't have a re-route done there, but went there for a muffler install and was happy with the service and price.

This won't help you much, but I did have a re-route done about 24 years ago that I was very happy with, at a Meineke in downtown Sac (not there anymore) :(.

I may have tweaked a few things...
I sure did and i’m very happy with where it’s at now. It was tricky because I didn’t want my 2.7L to sound like an import tuner, just wanted to hear it more for myself. I initially spoke with Travis about options and pricing and got a good feeling about going with his shop.

Unfortunately I didn’t talk to him when I went in again and although I mentioned what I was trying to accomplish I was recommended a 14” Magnaflow (they said I wouldn’t hear an 18” and I had mentioned how I liked Magnaflow in the V6 Tacoma).

This was too loud for me right away so I went back again and they said adding a glasspack would quiet it down some. It did, and added some new sounds which were nice, but the MF muffler was still too raspy.

Went in a third time and spoke with Travis. He said I should have been sold a Dynomax Super Turbo from the start and agreed the MF was far more raspy than would be expected. I was also getting close to $300 in on this and he said he couldn’t charge me any more for a simple muffler job. He swapped the MF for the Dynomax and installed it without charging me anything. I came back the next day with some beer as a thank you for what I felt was excellent service in correcting the issues.

carefull I them do mine the guy working there did a shitty job. it works but is ugly as fuck and I had to have him redo it as it didn't clear my skids the first time. Travis is a cool dude I didn't know he still worked there or I would of called him up. I haven't seen that guy in close to 20yrs if its the same Travis. he started working there back then if it is. hes a friend of my brother in law.

Another reason I said talk to Travis. When I went back the third time and he swapped the muffler they put my truck up on the lift and started looking at. I wanted to go and look as well but of course they don’t let you in. I was convinced something had been done wrong but I won’t know lol

How’s it going guys? Just moved up to amador county and need to switch dealers from southern CA to one of the dealers up here for services and any warranty work. Have you guys had any experience with either Thompson’s in Placerville or Folsom Lake Toyota? They are both about 25 miles from me so it really doesn’t matter to me, just wondering if you guys had anything good or bad to say about either of them? Thanks in advance!

I bought my truck from folsom lake Toyota. I let them do the free oil changes with no issues. Other than that, i have no other experience with them.

I go to folosom definitely not a big fan, I've been going for the the Toyota care service but I probably will end up just doing services myself even though I still have a couple free services left. They're pretty unprofessional expect to wait 1 1/2- 2 hours for an oil change that you set an appointment for maybe it being complementary has something to do with it? They also will try to feed you a bunch of bs the forum educated me lol. My truck has a little issues but I still love it I told the service rep about it and he goes "oh it's a new truck that's how they are all now" I wanted to slam my head through the window. Just my experience I could go on. GL Lol.

Just purchased my first set of sliders from Pelfreybilt, will need to get them welded on. Anybody have an general idea o how much it’ll cost me to get it welded from a shop in sacramaneto or Yuba City? Or any recommendation on who to go to, preferably Yuba City bc I live there.

Hate to ask because typically I am self-sufficient. I didn't think my 285/75R16's would rub nearly as bad as they are.

So, Can anyone do a cab mount chop for me in the [very] near future?

Willing to pay with cash and/or beer!

I had to trim some fender just for 265/75r16s and that was bad enough. It would drive me crazy if they were hitting the mounts. :sawzall:
