No. LEDs run in a halogen reflector will produce glare, loss of beam pattern and loss of performance.

To run LEDs you need to swap the entire housing with something designed for LEDs, like the Morimotos which will give you clean cut offs.

If you want a lower cost option, look at either a high efficacy stock wattage bulb like Philips +130s, or a higher wattage alternative like this:

I have an update coming to that high wattage version this month, which may be brighter and will run at a lower temperature.
