Could use a little help from my Tacoma Brothers & Sisters.
I want to replace those awful dim yellowish bulbs Toyota uses on the visor vanitys.
Can anyone give me a hint on where to pry to get these 4 (2 per vanity) plastic covers off?
I'm sure there is a right and a wrong way to go about it. Since I'm a direct descendant of Murphy I'd prefer to do it the right way first. Afraid of damaging the little plastic tabs that hold the covers in place. Thought if I waited until it was dark out and lit em up it would give me a clue........., it didn't. :frusty:

They have a hook tab on the lower edge. The top is an insert tab. Push up and pull towards you to remove. If it doesn’t come easy, use something like a flat blade screwdriver to get the hook tab (clear light part) to release from the outer colored frame. It will be directly on the bottom. All four are the same, just “mirrored”. Get it? I’ll let myself out.

Anyone have advice on wiring the vanity mirrors with power? First time wiring anything for me. I plan to take out the stock SR sun visors and replace them with units that have mirrors and LED lights.
