After watching a couple videos the 3rd looks fairly easy to change so I may just go the ECGS route. Too bad Just Differentials doesn't offer something similar so I could just go pick up thirds, swap them out and drive the cores back over.

 

Those are less than the shipping cost of some sliders that I priced.

 

Sounds as bad as the shops in moab with local rates and out of towner rates.

theres not upfront core charge tho if you drop them off

 

Your prices are good compared to some other places I have been to.

"Mechanic" may be a bit of an exaggeration. "You home parts replacers" is more fitting, for most of us haha.

I have some quarter panels that really wish that were true

 

Someone here get stuck up the North fork breaking trail over the weekend and loose a shackle Bell?

 

Well shit, I woulda gone up there with you.

 

Went out wit some buddies that go wheeling all the time( my first time in the snow with the new truck) Still stock wheels, no lift, running boards.
We were on some forrest service roads near crystal mountain with the plan to camp over night and take some photos(All 3 of us are photographers)
A lot of the roads had been plowed recently but There was still tons of fresh snow. We even stopped and chatted with the plow guy who was wondering if we had seen his co worker on the way.
Turned down an unplowed road on the way to a ridge that over looks a lake the other two had camped at two weeks earlier when my buddy got stopped by a 4 foot wall of snow and got his jeep stuck. Then I got stuck, then our 3rd jeep got stuck trying to help us out.

We only had shovels, 2 maxxtrax and 2 recovery straps.

It was a long slow moving 8.5 hours total we were stuck on that road


Finally We got free and decided to head home instead of setting up camp at 1am. Still had a blast!

PS: Removed my running boards the next day and had a buddy that does a ton of custom car work offer to fab some sliders for me.
