That's what I'm doing. Converting my 3rd gen to a 2nd gen. No more B pillar vinyl. And now a gas cap holder.

Blackwater like someone mentioned is the first place I am going when the weather breaks. Amazing fishing there.

Holy crap on a cracker, is that Steve the OP?! After 39k posts in this thread I feel like I'm in the presence of royalty.

I'm proud to be a member of this thread, and I owe it all to you, thanks man!

The name's Rob. I'd like to talk to you about some MD flag state outline bed side decals. I think I remember someone saying you were the man?

I think a long time ago I saw your truck with that decal up at the Wawa in Hickory. I said then how much I liked it. Now I want one for my Taco.

Anyway, nice to see you here.

Ok, gotta love technology. On Dec. 23 you posted up the name of the guy you got yours from. Gonna see if that info is still active. The temps will be warm enough soon to get this mod knocked out. Been dying to get this done.

Any Snaggedline members? For those interested, there are two kayak tournaments each year I try to always attend, Jamaica Bay in NY and the CBKA here in MD. Both are laid back causal affairs with overnight camping. Great places to hang out with old and new friends. JBay is coming up in May, and is the one thing I look forward to the most each year. If anyone wants to check it out let me know!

I have a pelican Fishing kayak and love it! Don’t use it as much as I should but I want to get out there and catch some strippers. Never know when they are “running” though. Need to start paying attention

Plenty of older guys fishing out of yaks, just need the right setup. If your legs and arms aren't what they used to be they make electric motors to help too.

Get ready, they are starting now.

I like that roll up one. My neighbor has one and coincidentally has the same color truck as you. :hattip:

I'm friends with a few local avid kayak fisherman. Haven't done any kayak fishing since I was a young kid though. Those Hobies they fish from are $$$$$. They have caught some monsters too.

Yea, not cheap but it is secure and very versatile. A hell of a lot cheaper than a cap though. And honestly, with the bed matt, the tiny bit of water that does get in, goes under that so I would not have a problem say storing bags of quickcrete or clothes in bags should the wife finally get tired of me moddin' the truck and kick me out one day. LOL

You're right about it being cheaper than a cap. I'm going to look it up. I need AT's worse than I need a cap though. I could also benefit from some sumosprings too .These leafs are weak.

And if you don't need the security, I hear a lot of guys are happy with the All Pro Tonneau for under $150. I like that the X2 (and now the newer X4) are all aluminum under that black fake leather. With the tail gate locked you will be working on it a long time to get in.
