What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Started working on my skid plate tonight. After making my diff drop kit the factory skid doesn’t fit very well. I figured I could make a stronger one that would mount all the way up to my front hitch and then go back to the second little factory skid. Having a neighbor that works at a metal distributor is awesome. I got a sheet of 1/8” metal at 4’x4’ and one at 4’x6’ for $20.

Installed new headlight and marker light housings and a new grill that I plastidipped.

Only problem is now the fucking headlights don't work where they were working perfectly before. Can't figure it out and I'm too annoyed to continue with it. Prolly just take it to a shop tomorrow. Fucking piece of shit.

I think its actually the most common color for facial hair for people until later in life. Or something like that. Mine used to have a lot of blonde in it like my brother, but its freaking ginger as hell now. Grant's is very blonde though.

2.5" 10" stroke Smoothie reservoir shocks with welded loop lowers. Depending on how well the guy that's building them ends up valving them I'll decide whether I want him to build my fronts too.

 

Where'd you order them from? Headstrong ended up sending me mine through DSM because they were backordered and I suppose King wasn't coming through as quickly as they hoped. Took about 6 weeks, this was back in October though.
