    So I unplugged the battery for a minute. Fired it up, no cel, ran fine during cold high idle for a while, then settled back down to normal Revs and the Cel came back on, it started to sputter, and when put in drive or reverse it immediately dies unless I keep on the gas

    My money is on the MAF or it's control module. It runs in open loop but as soon as it transitions to closed loop there are run issues.

    Long slow process. I have all the parts, bumper, skids, shocks, sliders exhaust etc... Just no free time lately. First time I have been home in almost 3 weeks living out of hotels.

    Im really not looking forward to fitting the fiberglass quarters.

    And I just sprayed some carb cleaner on the Maf and this time I fired it up and could drive it around the block and put it in reverse and start and stop and it’s fine now. A little rough still it seems, but it’s driving now..

    carb cleaner is not good for MAF sensors. Carb cleaner leaves a residue, you're supposed to use MAF cleaner or Electronics cleaner haha

    But the MAF seems to be an issue, so do a good cleaning and see what happens.

    I coulda spit on it. I don’t know wtf is going on with this thing. It just started incrementally working. I’ll clean the maf again tomorrow with some maf cleaner and check the code since I can apparently drive it now

    So while down here in Midland, everyone complains about the wind. Which is understandable witht he sant/dirt, but I just laugh. It pales in comparison to Wyoming and ND wind.
