Its all good, there are days I just say I'm done and leave, rarely but there are those days. It works out well when appt come up, just go, no clock to worry about.

 

Well a Co worker of mine here a plumber a foreman showed me a pic of a welding machine he has, it's a millermatic 140 with a cart, gauges, small bottle the damn thing is brand new only used it once for less than hour, he is asking 600 but gunna try to talk him down today that is a steal!!

 

It is about 500 savings with the accessories

Yeah... I wouldn't be working 60 hr weeks if I was on salary..

I'd have left a long time ago

 

I say, think I might get it, was going to order retrofits headlights soon but that can wait don' really need them now, but that welder I can use at home it's a necessity

 

I'd absolutely pick that one up! I'm still kicking myself in the ass for not picking up one that I saw in the texas classified sticky for 400 bucks.. I think it was also a 140

Yeah I've been wanting to get a small mig welder to start learning how to do it myself. definitely an invaluable skill to have!

 

MiG is very easy, now when you start to tig stainless and aluminum different, and aluminum is pretty hard especially since it's soft metal

 

Ya I want to learn aluminum, not that I'm that good with mig...but I have the idea. Need to get the gas for my setup, hear that it works a lot better so need to go hit up my father in law as he has several mid sized oxygen bottles laying around that are in good shape and I have the argon in a small bottle full.

 

Yes for nice looking welds use gas especially for stainless/aluminum, black iron don' really need it but want good welds then yes

 

I definitely need to learn mig. I'd love to be able to weld aluminum, but I don't really have a need for it.. everything I would be doing is steel
