You look on YouTube? I've seen stuff where people used sand inside the pipe to prevent crushing the bend. I forget the rest, but the sand sticks out in my head. I looked into it when I was making the exhaust for my turbo Ford ranger. What size and kind of pipe?

Oh... well then I don't know. That's probably pretty stout tubing. I was bending exhaust pipe.

Cut out wood circles about the radius of the bend you want, screw em down to a heavy table that's bolted to the floor. Heat the pipe till it's red hot and muscle it around the circle. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Came across this in another thread as an alternative to the EO2 quick release for plano cases on a roof rack. This would allow you to put cases up top only on trips, and not worry about them getting stolen or wind noise for daily driving @HCJ

I may migrate to getting two cases up top, and that will hold my tools and recovery gear. Then in the back I would modify my system to only have one bed length drawer, and a fridge next to it. I could then use the drawer for camping gear, lessening the amount of stuff I would need to load for a camping trip.

Only on trips = reduction of Expo points. We shall have non of that. Right @fatfurious2

Which reminds my I wonder if his dad @Subway4X4 is available next Friday I’ll be up in Pearl River.

    Hah.

I hear no wind noise anyway. What will I put up there in its place? Especially if I have solar on the other side. What is long and thin? Nothing

Wouldn't that make you MORE legit? Function over form and shit?

EDIT: Plus then I can take them off and swap on kayak holders, and switch between the two.
