Little breezy in Boston now. Easy ride in with just a mist

 

Left the house and it was just raining. By the time I got to work, which only took about 15-20 minutes, it was just sleet.

FML. Probably should have stayed home. Hardly anyone at work yet... we'll see what happens.

 

Yes, I'm going to be baking headlight dessert at some point this weekend.

I did mine at 67k miles along with NGK Laser Iridiums. @Blais03 and my reg cab are 2TR trucks so it doesn't take that long to do. Even a v6 isn't bad, I've done several of those as well

Should be as long as my temp is right and I don't forget the cardboard

 

Jezuz... why not add some wood somewhere to have everything.

 

Cardboard is key to a good finished texture, without it everything would be a soupy mess

Rob, does your company do complete engines as well? I've got a friend with a Subaru Baja that apparently ate itself this week and her mechanic quoted her $6800 for a used motor, installed, which is about twice what the car is worth. It's either an '04 or an '05 Turbo.

 

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Definitely don't want a soupy mess.

 

I could see some polished mahogany-pattern plywood instead of plastic on the bedrails.

 

I've bought so much off Craiglist... the only way to do it is be prepared to leave with cash the very moment you contact the seller. When they call, you don't make plans to meet, you tell them you are out the door right that second. Otherwise it's always gone before you get there. Gotta leave work, or the party you are at- whatever and whenever. When I was shopping for my boat I had $15k cash in my glove compartment for 3 months. Made me nervous as hell but the second something came up that I wanted I was on the phone and on the guys doorstep when he got home from work.

 

DAMN! That would be scary to carry that much cash around.

 

That's why I got a gun. You go buy bikes for the dealership with a wad of cash and half the bikes aren't legal

 

Tell me about it. I would wake up in cold sweats imaging my truck was stolen at work. Every night I would take the envelope in and hide it behind my bookshelf, then I'd panic the house would burn down... hillarious

 

Frost is going out every where here and we're getting 18-24" on top of the .5" of rain last night. Should be a great time grading driveways today. I see alot of today.

 

In Savoy MA, just plowed its messy underneath but the snow is the heaviest I've seen in a long time. Managed to plow a single lane out to walk the dogs and for when the parents come up this weekend without ruining anything. If I did anymore I'm sure I'd destroy it, we are getting hit hard still. Got reports out of Williamstown of 1inch. Hancock MA 8+ in some areas and Stephentown NY at about 1inch. All measurements are from about 8-815am
