I don't see how you have the time to do what you're currently doing as is let alone working a job and spending time with the family too.

Finally got my LED switchback strips in. laying out the pattern then I will design brackets to hold them in place inside the DRL tube. These things are legit! Each LED is dual color (white and Amber) and they will be wired up to diode dynamics SL1 switchback modules. Did I mention they are super bright? 1.5ft per side or 150LEDS.

And a little piece of flare..
Don't worry just a prototype. I also made smooth ones that I'm thinking about offering for sale. Color matched and will snap right in over the dumb fake fins.

Ah, that’s the area I inquired about previously. So it is just garnish. I wonder what other fun things could be done with it, LEDs, maybe?

    You’re blinding us with science!

Yes, it's a non functional garnish. You Can do whatever there, but I think it looks best when color matched. It makes the headlight lines more defined.

First DRL tube is done. I could have smoked the inside but the objective was as bright as possible, so the transparency was left as is. Also, the depth of the light board make a big difference; too close and you see every single LED, too far and you loose some intensity.

They are offset back just enough as not to be noticed, yet still blend in for a solid plasma beam look.
    Most importantly...NO dead spots!

Those are bright. As usual, great attention to detail.
