Magnuson TVS1900 Supercharger with 87mm pulley, Catted OVTune dumptubes, Doug Thorley 2.5in y-pipe, custom mufflers, 76mm Tundra throttle body, 5.29 Yukon gears, JamesT custom fuel rails, Yotawerx 87mm tune, Eibach Pro Truck Stage 2 suspension. And some other stuff.
I am not racing the truck nor do I have any intent on doing so. I am just looking for a quantifiable measure that the power gained from the tune translates to a faster truck. That is the return I am looking for from this investment. The primary reason I bought the truck is not to be fast (But it if can be made faster why not?) but for offroad performance. When I put on 255/85R16 I can quantify the increased clearance and improved grip. In all these threads people keep saying "It is faster"..... but by what measure? Butt dynos? Unfortunately that is not a very reliable instrument for measurement.

BTW My intent is not to be a dick. I am genuinely curious. I am very interested in this tune. If the performance gains are very small then I would rather invest the money on off road modifications. Though if this tune could offset the looses from offroad modifications (Bigger tires, added weight) then it might be worth it.

ebbs15 Does have a good point. Anyone in the North Central WV or South of Pittsburgh have the tune that would be willing to meet up? Ill pay for your gas to meet up.

Alright. Fair enough. The power gains are more because the truck is generally gutless, especially in the low end, rather than trying to turn the truck into a "faster" truck. That's one of the main aims and value of this tune. Drivability with performance being the secondary benefit, rather than the primary.

Off topic but for the record, where speed is discussed, "quick" generally refers to acceleration and "fast" for top speed. Not being rude. Just as a FYI

The difference in responsiveness and predictability made this a great upgrade for me. Not having to guess how the truck was going to respond when turning left across traffic or pulling out to pass someone has kept me from looking for another vehicle.

That said, I was also very impressed the first time I merged onto the interstate after flashing 1.03 (91 octane). The difference in pull through the RPM range was very noticeable, though I doubt it would translate into more than a tenth or two in a 0-60 run.

If you like the way your truck currently drives, this may not be for you. But if you aren't happy with throttle response or the way it shifts, this tune may be a good mod for you.

Definitely, that would be cool. The fun coordinator (aka wife) has me booked up this weekend, but drop me a PM and we'll meet up sometime soon.

I'm a Millionaire! One Million Posts!!
So the conversation might go like this . . .

Mr. Toyota starts out.. "Mr. Wilson, our third-gen development team took 27 months, beginning in late 2012, to develop the tune for our 3.5L Tacoma. Our team spent hundreds of millions of dollars over that time. They told me it would be have "learning" capabilities, and it would have 677 tables to sift though. They said if you drove your granny somewhere on Sunday, it would remember that, and for the next few weeks afterward it would assume you had granny with you every day. They told me it would be wonderful! But I drove it myself.. and it drove like CRAP!! But our undercover man @TacoVirus has been keeping close tabs on you. He tells me that you've reworked the tune in a matter of months. And it only needs a half-dozen tables? And it makes the Tacoma drive like a normal vehicle? And he tells me you developed this tune with feedback from a rag-tag group of real users from TacomaWorld? Real users that spent their hard-earned dollars to buy these Tacoma's? And now everyone is falling all over themselves to get this tune to make their Tacoma perform like a real truck should. Tell me Mr. Wilson... is this all true?"

And Mat replies.. "Well.. Yes Sir. But I gotta leave in a few minutes fly to Hong Kong. Anything else you need just email me or leave a PM on the forum. But my inbox is constantly overloaded and things move quickly. So it may take me a while to get back to you, Ok?"

lol ... I think Matt replying, "Can I get a cup of coffee real quick?" is more likely.

@OVTune - 2 questions I know folks will be wondering given all the recent movement:

1 - Does the recent news change / cancel your plans to head to Hong Kong (next week?)
2 - Assuming you're still heading over to prep for the event in China, do you think you'll have a "granny/stock tire" update for the AT 1.03 prior or would this be an April release at this point?
