Definitely check out metal gloss, https://www.amazon.com/Master-Formula-Metal-Gloss-Sealer/dp/B00EHYOVKU I detailed cars back in my younger years and never found anything else like it. Most recently used it on my Harley raw aluminum wheels. It definitely makes the engraving pop out more.
Search metal glass on YouTube and you'll see plenty what it does and it is for Real.

Ok, so stop me if I'm getting too crazy here...but would it be possible to engrave a TRD Pro logo on the side like into the knurled part? kinda an overlay? Or would that create too many edges?

This was similar to an idea I had about putting the Toyota emblem in the knurling. Would be interested in seeing that if possible.

Oh ya, forgot. You can take the customs # that Rick received and plug it into the Canada post tracking website and it will give tracking info!

Probably a smart thing...then you won't be aware of the week in Montreal bars (Canadian ballet) doing untold things on your dime. (Port of entry from PA is MTL)

When you pull it out of the box, and hold it in your hand for the first time...you will smile.

When the collar clicks onto it after you screw it on...you will snicker.

Then you will look at it, you won't even start up the engine, you will go through the gears...and you'll nod.

When you drive it for the first time, you'll be amazed how much of a different feel it is to shift...you will squeeze it harder.

When you wake up the first morning, and strap on that taco, and grab that cold shifter for the first time cold...you will shudder.

Then you will go buy some driving gloves, drive that cold knob again...and you will smile.

And then you will ponder...who exactly is Cinnamon?

Hey guys, new to the forum - looks like a great group! Are there plans to make more SS knobs? I've installed a short shift kit on my '16, and I need the extra weight to make going into reverse more "user friendly" for my wife. Thanks -

I won't say "never", but I do not plan to make anymore.

The two that I made were due to excess inventory that was going to be thrown away prior to our yearly audit. For this reason, I was able to sell them at no additional cost.

If I were to buy the material myself, and additional tooling to account for the inevitable wear ... we would be looking at a $135 knob (to start, no engraving).

I will do it if we can get at least 5 people interested.

OK, I'll watch this space for a while, if no one else steps up then I will keep searching. Appreciate the quick response -

to OP, for the Auto, it might just have to switch to 3d printing the collar pieces because that looks horribly complex for what it needs to do.
