Shit. You do live quite a bit north. Have never been up that far northeast, but looks like a neat area from what I see and hear.

Had a few things stolen from the porch/outside mailbox so I installed a locking mailbox and have larger things sent to my folks or a friends house in a safer neiborhood. I was pissed enough to get into serious trouble if I'd had the chance but it's just not worth it. Vengeance and vigilanteism(?) are both seductive but one way/wrong way.

It is neat if you know people In those places. If you don't know anyone I can tell you from prior experience, don't brake down there.
I logged there like seven years in a row and got to be kinda like a local. I get treated that way anyway. It's after the third season it got to be even more neat. The real locals showed me some gold mines and good places to hide out and camp. I do love it there and would love to move there bad part is that there's like four feet of snow in Sterling City at this moment.

Spring time up here is some really cool camp areas. Some pay and some not. They both are about an hour from my house. Totally awesome meadows (that I would hate to see all fucked up) some of these meadows you can camp at with a stream right there.

Depending on the snow, I think a simple trip for a camping trip would be great in later May or early June. There's a camp ground in the high country called grizzly camp ground. It's on humbug road. Really great for a group like us.
Also a short drive to an old school and town at longville. Then soda springs at yellow creek short ride to Almanor from there. Maybe some trout at soldier meadows or a camp out there as well.

Holy crap. What a day. I go to the snow with nothing going on. Then wife's ex calls and says he wants to move his fridge. He is moving out of their house and she is getting it back. So of coarse I go rent a low trailer and then buy a new fridge and new stove and move half his shit out. Now half our shit is there. All in the damn rain and sleet. Hell of a day.

Not enough to have a build thread.
I moved a tempurpedic mattress in similar conditions. It turned into a giant sponge....

Ok I have to change my headlight buckets. Looking for some ideas where to get new ones. I like the ones with black background but think stock would be fine because neat looking isn't always the best choice. Any ideas would be great.
