Nah, just advice from the perspective of having a heavily modded truck and a stock one. Stock is the DD just because it's simpler and nicer to drive on a day to day basis. Modded one looks good sure, but is taller, stiffer, louder and all around built for off-road use not daily cruising. Makes for an easy decision when deciding on what to drive for a quick run to do errands.

old man emu, nitrocharger shocks, darkar leaf springs, bbs wheels, access tonneau cover, laufen AT 275/65/18,
keep it as close to stock as possible, only do functional mods that also remain as close to the stock form, IMHO only.

Aside from the idea that if the mods you're doing aren't making it fun to drive then you're doing the wrong mods... I see no downside to this.

OP: MOD AWAY!!!!!!! Make it your own. Have fun. Drive.

Ok ok ok ok so it's been a long while again. No excuse for the prolonged hiatus this time. Luckily no more life threatening work accidents or anything else. (not counting the pandemic) I'm back again and the 1st gen has been through a lot of work recently to bring her back to pristine shape again. She's recently had new valve cover gaskets, all fluids flushed and topped off, tune up, new brakes in all 4 corners, a much needed engine wash (valve cover gaskets were bad for almost a year). My mechanic advised me when he opened up the engine everything looked extremely clean and wouldn't have know the engine had 230k if he hadn't seen it on the odometer, he then offered me all kinds of money to leave it with him but I just couldn't do it. From the mechanic shop she went across the street to the body shop where she got a new front bumper, headlights, marker lights, passenger fender, and paint on the hood and roof. I'm excited for how she's come out and how amazing this truck still looks and performs after 19 years, the last 4 with me abusing the hell out of it. Looking forward to being part of the community again.... starting with next weekends South Padre Island Tacoma World Meet. Now on to the pics.

Looks great. I’d leave it other than cleaning and replacing parts. My money pit is in the garage more than on the road. If I could start out with one like yours I’d take it in a second. If you wants mods trade me for mine.

Haha well I did do a 3in Toytec/Bilstein lift. I think that might be the extent of my mods list except maybe a hidden winch, and some new tires. Still trying to decide if I want to go with 255s or 285s. I definitely dont want to regear so I'm leaning more towards 255s

Yeah I’m a dunce and realized that after posting so I edited. I had briskly seen it at work earlier in the day but the step-side and paint job had me distracted. Congrats on the truck. I’m sure its a great feeling. It oughta be.
