It is 3/16 steel, honestly the rings don't weigh a whole lot more than the stock aluminum rings do. But when I hold all 4 together it's a decent weight lol. I'll have PayPal info soon lol

Thank you! The rear has the overload removed and put a progressive aal in there

I was thinking of this color combo all day, laid it out on the test ring and mocked it up. What do you think?! I love it, flat black face, gloss black lip.

They look good however I'm a little OCD, cut outs should match rim design everything is off. Too busy of a pattern.

Does anyone know if there are any performance differences between the Baja rear shocks and the 2nd gen TRD Pro rear shocks? The My original 2013 Baja shocks quickly developed surface rust on the body and remote reservoir, and the steel braided lines and crimps look crappy too. I'm due for new ones after 50k miles, and was thinking about going with Pro shocks because the lines have a rubber coating. This and a little clear-coat on the hard parts might help avoid rust issues this time around.

The Baja shocks are part number PTR13-35120-AC. Anyone have a part number for the Pro rear shocks?

To the best of my knowledge there is no difference other than the rubber sleeve. The surface rust is just because of where you live......I’m in the same boat. As far as rust protection, I spray my stuff with “fluid film” once a year in the fall.

I fluid film the rest of my undercarriage, but the shocks were too far gone when I started. The problem is that fluid film attracts dirt and look like shit pretty quick. I guess I'll just have to live with it.

I fluid film everything but the exhaust. I agrees when it gets dirty it’ll stick until it gets washed off. I often use a hose to spray all that crap off and keep it looking clean.

Didn’t they add zinc coating on the ‘15 shocks for rust protection?

Yeah, we're in brine season out here Utah roads, I hate knowing that stuff is getting up under my truck. Can't rinse it off often enough.
