I don't own one yet, haven't had the need yet, I usually do the hot water scraper and luck out every time. Shoot me a PM and we can figure out a time for me to come out.

I went to school during a time when exposed asbestos pipe and duct insulation was popular.
We sat on it at lunch time in the hallways, drew pictures on it and pokes holes in it with pencils. For several years. Still here.

Yes, oil drain hole so 3-4". I have a hole saw that size, but trying to not suffer through that disaster again on 1/4". It took me nearly a week to get the 4 or 5 holes in my front skid which is 3/16".

Shoot me a text if that falls through. I can use a torch to cut the hole. The torch isn’t to far from ya. But the plasma will cut cleaner then the torch.

    You can eat the stuff.
It's not toxic. It's breathing the dust that's bad for you. The shape of the dust particles makes them get stuck in your lungs.

No. Use a 4" hole saw on 1/4" steel and get back to me on that idea.

This would be the most frustrating thing ever, even if you were able too set it up with a drill press.

It is, large hole saws suck major balls on metal. These holes in the front of my bumper (3/16") took about a week to do, spending 30-40 minutes a day on them, just destroys your arms holding on the drill when it grabs and bucks, also went through 3 or 4 hole saws at ~$20 a pop.
