Well it was a couple days ago. Might explain why the price isn’t doing well even with the LitePay fiasco.

I am waiting to see if Kucoin will support it. If not, I’ll see if MEW does support it. And if that doesn’t work, I’ll use ClassicEtherWallet with my ledger

Damn, previously I'd buy the newest vga for quake. Started with a Riva TNT, then on up the GeForce line, with some 3dfx mixed in there. Never thought gpu's could serve a different purpose than gaming.

GPU's have long been used for things outside of gaming. Nvidia has had the quadro series since the early-ish 2000's. More marketed to workstations/video editing/computing/ect than gaming though. AMD had a line too but I don't remember the name (fire pro or something?)

Its really been this last generation that companies have realized they get no real benefit (for the most part) using a quadro card over a 1080ti (generically speaking im sure some situations its still better).

As far as I can find, there has been NO announcement from binance regarding the CLO airdrop.
Given that they HAVE announced support for previous airdrops, I wouldn't count on it. They probably stand to make more from ETC withdrawal fees and keeping all the CTO than they would lose in business from disgruntled customers.
It seems like they've treated some previous air drops like lotteries were they distributed some of the air drop to the highest holders.
I have alts on binance and I don't have any on other exchanges but I do feel like I've made a deal with the devil, just maybe the less evil of some of the devils out there

Exchanges are always last minute. Just look at Bittrex and the BTCP fork
Like better? It was a hard fork from ETH so they say it’s better but ETH will probanly reign supreme

Yes. Ethereum Classic vs Ethereum But still very similar in principle. Mostly the fork stemmed from an investment fund that was created when it was just Ethereum, It had a ton of money in it (100+ million). A report was release listing vulnerabilities in Ethereum. Like a month later a large sum of money was taken from the investment fund without the owners consent. And so began the fork. The current Ethereum community and the investment fund voted to basically go back in the blockchain and restore the stolen tokens to the rightful owners. The (now) Ethereum Classic community believed that was wrong and you shouldn't be able to go back and ever change the blockchain.

So Ethereum hardforked and went back on the blockchain. Ethereum Classic stayed on the (then) original blockchain.

Both have "forked" since then to fix/change various community/dev voted items. As have a lot of other bigger tokens/projects to be fair

To be fair Ethereum is technically a hardfork from Ethereum Classic. They just got to keep the original name and token name for some reason

Using bittrex and BTCP as an example is just silly. They only supported it cause their wallet ended up getting fucked up. They had no intention of supporting it and are really only semi supporting it which was evidence in their announcement. Kucoin, Tradesatoshi, and Hitbtc all made proper announcements that varied from a few days before to like a week before.

But, the forking has officially begun! 12-36 hours and those with private keys should be able to claim
