What door speakers did you go with?... am reading thru the tweeter upgrade thread from @IndyFastlane and everyone was onto the door speakers too... I'm an audiophile so this stereo is meh at best. Hard to listen to really for me anyways. My wife's ahem 2006 Honda CR-v has a much better sounding stock stereo that she always reminds me of when we go on trips.

I went with Kicker Door Speakers, think they are CS Series, and I also got some sound deadening stuff on Amazon and put that inside the doors.

    Nice - I just ordered :
    Kicker 44KSC6904 fronts
    Kicker 43CSC674 rears
From Crutchfield they come with free wire connectors and free speaker mounting brackets for the same price or less that A-zon... I usually go Prime but this time it actually paid to shop around.. almost bought everything separately but on ebay the speaker brackets said they didn't fit my truck .... so I got a little scart... thinking Crutchfield knows what up.

    How the sound??

Is that white car next to your truck in the first pic the car you hit?

That white car is the one I hit. Came around a corner to an accident..couldn't stop in time ..no wounds besides a couple contusions on the legs...seriously the airbags are way more forgiving than the Nissan ones

A quick check with Progressive for state minimum in Seattle zip 98102 is $77/mo., in New Orleans it lists as $130/mo. minimums are: Louisiana - 25/15/30 and Washington - 10/25/50.

I got those thru Crutchfield too, I think for the minimal amount of money that it sounds pretty good.

Yeah my insurance is super cheap out here in WA, but I have a very clean record.

I had a few speeding tickets coming to WA because I also own a GSXR 1000....not very conducive to cheap insurance and thanks for the info on the New Orleans insurance....I also don't carry the minimum because of those two accidents but to each their own

I was just using that as a base for comparison. I’m the same way, with vehicles costing near $40-50K or more these days.

Most of my tickets are spread out and I completely sympathize with the need to over insure with the cost of a single accident....
I pay for it....unfortunately for me, but just go a few years with no tickets and all is well..also accident forgiveness by usaa is great

No worries I had 4 accidents in a month some years back. 2 minor, 1 that did more damage and the last took out the front of the trucks plastic, but it still ran. The insurance company dropped me like a hot fucking rock. I have since worked my way back up to at least holding a policy but it's at a price.:frusty:
