I recall there being a post here but I cannot locate it now about some items to double check the dealer does before heading off. It seems like checking tranny fluid, maybe rear diff and any TSB bulletins? If you can point me to the thread or list them here I would be stoked! Thanks!

There is a mirror hanger from the factory that lists the things the dealer is requested to do upon receipt of the truck - start with that. I’ll see about taking a picture of it and posting it here (in case they removed it). I’m sure there are other threads on here.

EDIT: Here is the hang tag...

Take a measurement of your current Bro Levels, then re-measure during test drive. Should increase by 26% minimum

Bed alignment/bumper alignment. I'm taking mine in to get it adjusted, should've checked the day I agreed to lease it.

My 2015 had 2 scratched wheels that I did not notice until I got home from the dealership but they were cool about it and replaced them.

Just be prepared to walk when most, or none of the conditions are meet by your dealer. They will promise the world and not do any thing that is not routine. I'm mainly talking about the tranny fluid and rear differential check in your case. I'm guessing you meant TSB's? Those won't be done unless you show symptoms which you can't because you haven't driven the truck yet.

The dealer won't touch anything you mentioned with out a fight because there needs to be cause to do so.

Drive it and then have the dealer address any issues.

I feel like such a "noob" asking what does "bro level or bro lean mean"? I see this term used a lot but have not connected the dots... :annoyed: Please leave my honor intact when answering :)

Thanks everyone for your help and advice. @aidenbeck provided what I had read previously and was trying to remember- thanks! Thanks to everyone else... Being armed doesn't always mean success, but at the very least I now know what I didn't know to ask for... cheers!

Make sure to check if the SD card is installed for the Nav system. Sometimes they remove them so folks don't steal it during tire kicking.

Checked myself after 1000 miles. Tire pressure a lb or 2 off. All fluids were up. Rear leaf shackle springs very slightly loose.U joints were greased. Basically everything was fine.

It means if you never find yourself rolling up to Starbucks on a 3" lift and KO2s you're doing it wrong!

Please excuse my sarcasm. Just clowning.

Check to insure you add service department phone number to your phone before leaving dealership.

When I picked up my 2017 - there were a few rock chips looked like from shipping. I got the truck with only 7 miles on it. I didn't notice it, and in a few months I had these small "rust" color spots. Look carefully!

If they try to sell you an alarm or any other extras, decline.

What did you find? Was the bed out of alignment from the cab?
