No, going to run them with the Dakar pack for now and see how it does. If it still isn’t enough, I’ll get a Deaver pack made and run archives shackle hangars with longer shackles.

 

I thought archive kit can run 14" shocks

You can fit a 14” shock but your shock mounts on your axle will end up in the same stock location. There isn’t enough room to move the bottom mount up. The shock body on the 14” is also longer and the. You are running right to the very very end of your compression stroke when you hit bump stops. 12” gives you a little more confort that you won’t totally bottom your shock out and allows the axle mount to be moved up. You can fit a 14” but just not quite well enough for me to do it.

 

The reception I've been getting is ridiculous, a couple years ago I couldn't get shit out here. Anywhere I'm at a high point I've got LTE.

Blew a CV axle right after leaving the Valero station in Running Springs lol. Luckily I grabbed my spare this morning right before we left...put the new one on in the snow with Alex's expertise and help. Finished white Mountain, about to do Gold. Pics to come

I like it because the rope has a woven layer around it that helps protect the line from fraying & other edges it may rub on. Fraying is what led to the failure of my last rope. It comes with a another additional rock jacket that velcros on & off. I’ve made a few easy pulls with it and haven’t had any issues. I also liked that the last 6’ of it is red so you don’t unwind too far. Another issue that led to my failure...

 

It was a Dodge 1500 my buddy buried in the sand, very slightly up hill... pulled him out and back onto the trail & the idiot got himself stuck again, I pulled him like 3-4 to get him out of the soft and through some vegitation cause he kept burying it. Worked fine!

Awesome, that couldve been a bad one. Another trick is to get everything torqued to exactly where it all should be at. And then apply a dab of Torque Seal on each nut. This gives a you a quick visual and indication if anyrhing has come loose.
