Cut & broke off stuff. Prolific ziptie and tape usage.
depends on water level. a number of areas aren't good for more than a few trucks either.
Let's assume Neville will be fine and just have to see when we get there.

After my tent failed to keep rain and water out at Black Mountain the wife decided that we were throwing it away. I still don't have a new one, anyone have a tent or brand they swear by or recommend?

I Love the oz tents. They are very rugged and can be very versatile. Although they are crazy expensive but will last forever. The other one I like ezup cube. If the structure ever fails then you can get a replacement pretty easy.

    My experiences:

Cheaper brands available at walfart and the like: Coleman and Ozark Trail have served me well.
Used in the Scouts: Eureka, Kelty, and REI/Campmor brand

Also had an older waxed canvas A-frame BSA tent from when my dad was a Scout. Best tent ever! 'Til it got damp in a basement and lack of use caused rotting.
Could I tell a difference in them across the board? Not really. They all need(ed) waterproofed yearly no matter what.
Were the high end tents better quality? Just slightly imo.

I use a Coleman 3 season tent currently. Up until the short rainfly pole got broken by the dogs playing at the Rush meet, it's been good. I'll just drape a tarp over it for added heat and rain shedding at LBL, pending weather.

Again, I was in the BSA and a family that enjoyed camping in tents, so taking care of them was ingrained in camping trip prep and packing. YMMV

I certainly agree with this, but my tent was a 10 year old wal mart tent, the last couple trips we took it would condensate on the inside and make it's own rain if water didn't get in on it's own. Just figure as long I'm getting a new one regardless might as well get something we'll really like.

My tent worked great at our RRG meet. Just don't set it up where there's going to be a miniature river rolling through and you'd be fine with almost any tent.

I've never had to bail water out of a tent like that. Close once when rafting the New River, but you win the cake.

Ripped off all four mudflaps. Scratches all down both sides 6112’s up front on 3rd notch 5100’s in back with Toytech 1” block Skids & sliders from SOS Concepts I got rid of the 1” block and put on Wheelers 1 1/2” progressive AAL. SPC UCA. Be sure your standing on the drivers side when reading the instructions! I swapped sides so many times that I can swap UCA’s in 15 minutes. I put in the 3/4” spacer to eliminate the Taco Lean, and just got my 4th alignment. Traded the OEM rims for 17” Sport rims and a bora bora 1” spacer. I got my Firestone 285/70/17 MT2’s. Pelfreybilt gas tank skid and hi-lift jack should be here Friday. Looking at bumpers, but I think they will wait for next year. So far I’m happy with my build. I’ve done it all myself, leading to a lot of cussing and frustration, but it’s all mine.
Bring it. I ordered the parts to raise my dif breather 17’ this morning!
