Indeed, the wait is killer. Ordered mine in November, received it in February. Now I’m waiting for parts.

Addictive Desert Designs Honeybadger front bumper.
Total Chaos Uniball UCA’s
Total Chaos bed stiffeners.
Total Chaos King Bump Stop mounting kit.

Waiting on:

King OEM Extended Travel shocks w/ 700# coils.
King rear 2” x 4” bump stops.
SDHQ Nittro REM polished 4.88 gears (en route).
ARB front air locker.
C4 Fabrication Ovelrand HC rear bumper w/ tire swing out.
Icon Rebound Wheels.
Tires are undecided, but probably Toyo M/T’s in 285/75/17
Warn 10,000 lb winch.
Switch Pro
TRD Pro grill (any day now).

Looks cold. Spring has sprung down here.

 

I just ordered a DCSB OR manual cement and am stoked. My last Tacoma was a 2010. This will be my sixth Toyota truck since 1989! Plan to see it in May.

 

Just picked her up from getting ceramic coated. Needs the Pro grill ASAP!

Found some snow or found a Tacoma?

 

I have yet to see in person a 2017 Pro in the Cement color, but it looks from the many photos I've seen that it was a lighter and maybe "flatter" color than the 2018 Cements. I have a 2018 OR in Cement and it seems to be quite a chameleon color depending on the lighting (which is kinda cool), but I can't help but think it's a darker color than the 2017 Pros were. I've seen some photos of the Pro where it does indeed look darker and occasionally my truck looks like that lighter, paler grey. But mostly mine and the other 2018's I've seen look darker, maybe even slightly more metallic than the Pro. So, am I just seeing things that aren't there, and 2018 Cement is exact same as 2017, or am I correct in thinking that Toyota changed the color a bit? Thanks in advance.

 

It wouldn't be the same paint code if Toyota had changed the color even a little bit.

 

Yep, it's the exact same color. It looks different in all kinds of lighting.
