I'm in NB pretty much every weekend. Ol lives there. Feel like I might have seen your truck when i went trout fishing more toward the lake.

 

Last year in I about lived up there with my kayak fishing the lake and slinging flys on the river. Need to get back on that big time!

 

Yeah for sure. It got so packed this winter after they stocked the river. I gave up on it. I figured I might have seen your truck out there

Yeah I went one time wading at whitewater just to try out a new fly rod and could barely squeeze into a spot. I know there's other spots with TTU but I was only going to try the rod lol. This summer I plan to be on the river fishing in the yak a lot. Usually put into the river under i35 or go down to seguin and put in. Early morning at daylight it's so relaxing and the bigmouths love the walking top waters.

 

Yeah trying to get in where those TTU guys are is a shit show. I've been taking my boat ath that same boat ramp and heading down toward mcqueeny on those lillies real early and doing pretty good. Pre spawn right now. Surprised with how many plecos are on that river. Lighting em up at night with my bow lol

 

It doesn't even take a train horn too make you grouchy.. "Cole! Unlock your truck so I can turn off this damn phone alarm or I will throw it into the woods!". Me: how you going to do that if the truck is locked? "Shutup Nick!"

 

Man I haven't bowfished in forever! I know it is so fun though. During the summer in NB it's all a shitshow everywhere on the water. I'll put in about 6:30-7 and I won't dare stay after 10-11. Damn wakesurfers and wakeboarders (guilty of enjoying those sports myself) about capsize me driving by lol

I always have room on my boat man. Normally just me and two buddies that go out there. And yeah those ski boats give zero f***s for anyone else on the water in that section of the river lol I gotta pick up my boat from the coast one of these weekends before the spawn and I'll hit you up if you're free.

 

Which ones did you go with?

 

Got a really good deal on some pro crap uniballs. Nearly same specs as TC using FK balls and measurements. Couldn't pass up the deal so i went ahead and put them on just to fix alignment and the wandering.

I'm always down for that!

My new RCI rear bumper is powder-coated and ready to ship! Crossing my fingers for an install next weekend.

 

Are new UCAs the only way to fix wandering? Mine can get a little crazy in a cross wind

 

Just drove mine home and it's a huge difference. Feels back to stock with the steering and turning. My alignment before the UCAs wasn't that good to begin with but it's back good to go now
