The passengers side comes with anchors and they are a snug fit. They also have that texture like little needles that stick in the carpert.

You have to bend the shit out of the thin fender metal in the way of the UCA bolt by bending it toward you with channel locks. Be careful not to pinch the ABS line clipped to the inside.
Or you can always grind a flat side off of the bolt/washer like I did for the re-install.

Sold my Bilstein 5100s to a fellow Tacomaworld'er today. And I will give him credit for this simple mod I copied from him. I've been wanting one of those Bedrugs but didn't wanna spend the $$$. When we met today to make the deal on the shocks, I noticed his 'homemade' bedrug. It is simply a 4 x 6 stall mat that you can buy at a farm store. Ironically we met in the parking lot of my local Buchheits, so after he left I went inside and purchased one. $37 total cost. Used a circular saw to trim out the fender wells. Used the pieces I trimmed out for the wheel wells to fill in the spaces on each side in the rear. Works perfect! Thanks @Ekuhl . And nice to meet ya. The guy is a fireman also, so props for that, as well...!

Installed TRD Skid plate on my 2017 sr5 "xp". Got lucky and stripped rear two bolts even using a torque wrench and under torquing bolts. Now I have to figure out how to fix two small stripped bolts.

Easy-out the broken bolts. Retap the holes in the body nuts. Must have been cross threaded. I bolted up my front 4 first and then finger snugged the smaller rears and then torqued all. If you get out the bolts you can always just use longer 3/8" bolts, washers and nuts if you don't have a tap.

Understood but I plan to get that OEM latch (or whatever it is) and put it on my 17 and use it. :)

    So......today......in this crazy weather.....this happened.

My son gave me a hand and got the Tyger "slyders" bolted on. I'm now a parking lot warrior with my new armour, lol.

    Really liking these things.

Thirsty work as I was holding them steady as he bolted them on.

Our next project will be the exhaust. I want a bit more growl from my rice-fed-squirrel-powered-6-pack.
