Called the shop today about my truck and he told me they looked at it this morning but didn’t know what to do since they think the lift kit messes with the CV angle so much that it’s messing up the seal. Like why tf wouldn’t you call me then and ask what I wanted to have done? Anyways he told me it could be Monday before they have time to get to it again and finish it. :annoyed: And to top it all off my Cobra is making some awful tapping noise from the front cover, which I assume the timing chain guide broke and/or the tensioner went bad on it... I really hate that I have an emotional attachment to that car.:bananadead:

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
I really hate that about most shops. It seems like as soon as they see it's lifted, they want to automatically assume everything that is wrong with the truck is all because of the lift.

The spring will only help you clear at ride height. When articulating the suspension it will still travel the same distance into the wheel well as the 881. I bet you could fit the 34 with the 1" bl and good castor numbers without too much fender modification. Good looking truck!

I wish there were more options for tall skinny tires. I'd like to see some hybrid tread tires in that size.

I brought it in Tuesday and they told me it would be 2 days before they could look at it, which is fine since it's a smaller shop and they can only work on 3 cars at a time, but to then tell me it's the lifts fault and that you can't work on it until Monday is annoying. They told me to take it to the shop that did the lift on it, lol that lift was done at the very least 7 years ago in California.

Well... if that person couldn't care less about the lives around them, why should I care about theirs?

If (s)he landed on my car with me and/or my daughter in it, it would have ended very badly for them. Likewise if they landed on one of my family's, friend's, people on TW that I care about, etc...

Could a bad ujoint make my CB get warm? Pretty sure is the very back one, and it’s only in the beginning stages of failure, just clunks (more like a ding) when going from reverse to forward.

Only took a few months to go bad also. Don’t know if that’s a sign of something more serious or not.
