    It's because Oklahoma doesn't require safety inspections and has relatively low taxes...

    Why do you think they're aren't many 18-wheelers registered in Connecticut and Virginia (at least not the long-haul ones)?

    Because they both charge property tax on vehicles!

    The path up to the drive-thru at the bank is a little steep, but even in the rain this is not a big deal...

    In the snow, when you're in a rear-wheel drive pickup truck with a brake-actuated "fake posi" auto-LSD, it's a bit of a bigger deal...

    As I mentioned earlier, I couldn't even make it up the hill to the drive-thru, so I had to get out of the truck and walk the rest of the way!
