I have no idea, don’t really know anything about it other than it gives more travel without as much wider as LT. But maybe I’m completely wrong, which could be.

After driving all over Oceanside and some of San Diego I finally found a USB to serial to connect to the URD piggyback. Now if I only knew what I was doing with the damn thing...

Budbuilt skids they are very nice quality but the holes didn’t line up for me!!! I have been working on this for 2 days and finally done. Installing my front and rear bumpers didn’t even take this long!!!! I had to make custom rear brackets. I also made front brackets cause I cut the front part of my frame off in order to get the arb bumper to work with the 3” body lift and reinforced the front part of the frame . The belly pan bolt and bottom bolts of front pan had to be modded as well!!’ What a pain in my ass!:notsure:

If I remember correctly the 2nd gen is a bit smaller in length and width, I looked into picking up a 2nd gen allpro rack a while back and remember the fit was close, but not close enough

97 3.4. I wish it was manual but it still has oodles more get up and go than my Tacoma. I'm pretty excited about it. Going to try and resist modding it too much until the Tacoma suspension is complete.

There's lots less available for it so that helps. Good daily and parts getter though

They don't like that, ECU isn't setup for it at all. Have to get a FIC6 or some other ignition/fuel tuner to make it work.

Strange...I've got a full set of Budbilts on my 04 and they fit like a glove. Should contact them and let them know that their 3rd gen products have fitment issues @BudBuilt

Ah didn't know that, explains why I've never really seen or heard of one on a t-100...well that's one less tempting mod to have to worry about then

Used to say it right in the paperwork for the supercharger, the ECU goes full retard, literally, it retards the timing until it stalls under boost.

Wasn't there a similar issue with the first couple years of Tacomas (95.5 - 97) and the superchargers? Sounds familiar now that I think about it.

Yup, exact same issue, same ECU, at least for the engine control logic portion.

Good to know. Does this apply with a low psi turbo setup too?
