Like the title states, the right side won't click shut. Shell is 3 years old, this just started happening the last week or so. Left side is fine. When I manually push in the lever from the inside, 1 in 10 times it will click. There are 2 metal pieces that seem to mesh in place like a jigsaw puzzle if working correctly, those 2 pieces are slipping now instead (so not clicking/shutting). Luckily the left side is ok.

Any ideas if this can be adjusted? Or does it need a new piece? Any ideas how to fix?

    Thanks!

Over time the clamps loosen and the cap shifts slightly. Mine uses dual handles, but from time to time it doesn't fully close on one side or the other. I loosen all 4 clamps and can readjust the way the cap is aligned and it works better. For a year or 2 anyway. I'm betting the same would help you.

Are you talking about the rear glass? The latches are held in place by Phillips screws. Tighten them down and see if it latches. If not then loosen re adjust and try again.

I had to readjust mine after about 3 years. I need to tighten the cable a bit now because one side doesn't always release for me now.

Got it, so it's just a philips head adjustment? Or something more?

That or maybe torx...I moved the latch out just a few mm and it's been good for 2 years now.

Might want to check where the gas struts attach to the shell while you are there, those have loose on mine too.

Are the bedsides straight ? Is there an even gap at the tailgate?
    You may need bed stiffeners.

I was having the same issue and I just fixed it. The latch on the inside of the glass door is screwed on slightly too far to the outside of the shell (right hand side in your case), this causes tension on the 'release line' on the inside of the glass that is causing it to pop open. Get a hex screw to loosen the screws and SLIGHTLY move the latch to the left (towards middle). We are talking fractions of an inch here. It should solve your problem.

My right side is doing the same thing! I'll try sliding the latch toward the lock (left) this afternoon. IMG_20180821_102005621.jpg

Mine was doing it because it needed lubrication. I used rem oil on all four pivot points and it now latches very easily. Just wasn't releasing and resetting normally. I adjusted the thing ten times before I figured this out.
