Nice looking Taco! Do you have a winch behind that bumper? My set of steel wheels for the KO2 235's wont be here until the end of next week, looking at bumpers and winches in the mean time :)

245-75-17?? I am specifically getting this size as its close to same dimensions as 235-85-16 but i can get these in SL rating so even lighter.

Sorry UWU, no winch, just the skill of not getting stuck . . . but I have pulled a few Full size trucks and few Jeeps out of good sticks with my "little" Taco though :curls::muscleflexing::cheers:

    Thanks, man.
I meant like the first picture where you can see how skinny they are and how they line up with the fenders (how far they tuck in or stick out).

Dropped off the 255/75r17's to be mounted on the level 8 mk6's. Tire guy was hesitant they will fit my stock suspension. Told him I know in will be trimming bumper and said okay. $68 for mount and balance. Will post pics later when finished.

Hi, I just bought an 2018 access cab TRD OR (Automatic). I have always been a skinny tire fan. I put a set of Bighorn MT in 255 85 R16 on yesterday. Only driven around town so far but no rubbing noticed. Next week a 2-inch OME will be installed by the dealer here. I know I paid a premium but I want the warranty. I really am happy with the look. This vehicle has more clearance than my Rubicon even before the lift. Another user here made the comment that he thought the truck hunted less for gears with this tire. I thought he was delusional. I might also be but I think it does cut down on that issue. They make a pretty good road noise but if I wanted a quiet car that is what I would have bought.

You should be able to carry a full size 255/85 spare under that Third Gen with plenty of room to spare. I just put Cooper ST MAXXs on in that size and have room all around.

Update: You have to check the spare occasionally as it may rub if it shifts even a little bit, but it does fit.

Ha! I wish my 255s would fit under there. A bracket is in the way. I’d need about 1/2 inch to get it in there.

just got some 255/85 cooper st maxx but on and I’m gettung a gas pedal/steering wheel vibration. It’s like the vibration is on a loop/pattern. I have gotten them balanced twice now. Any idea what It could be?

New rims as well? If not, then rotate tires to the rear and see if it follows a wheel. Otherwise, try another source for balancing. After that you may just have a bad tire.
