Did a very quick adjustment on mine last night because both lights were way off and it was annoying me. Hoping to get them adjusted properly tonight. Hope to get some night shots for you guys.

so installed these today... what a pain in the ass to remove OEM. TOTAL FAIL TOYOTA. whoever designed the headlight install should be shot!
That said, new headlights look great IMHO! Still have to modify DRL and wire up the LED
also, kinda strange these run an H7 bulb with an internal relay that changes the voltage (?) for low/high

i will test out replacing with LED at some point

I’d say the PIAA bulbs are quite a bit better. They are brighter and a much whiter light. I will probably buy more when these burn out.

    Regular bulbs low beam:

It was the only name brand, quality option I could find. I’d say they’re worth it assuming they last a while.

for sure. I wanted to go the LED route but I'm having trouble finding quality bulbs that are plug and play. I might have to get these.

There’s an HID setup that looks like it’s plug and play. I decided these were easier and good enough, but I bet those HIDs are awesome.

Hoping to install them this weekend. I got mine from protuninglab, they came with hids already installed. Incase anyone was wondering or thinking of installing hids in theirs, it looks like they just put a hole in the original rubber backing and sealed it with the rubber gasket that comes around the hid wires, and of course they come with no name brand hids and ballasts. Guess I’ll see how long they last. I noticed there’s no marker bulbs on the side and there’s a cap over where a bulb would go on the inside and the led halo is wired to where the marker bulbs would be. I read others saying the same, I kinda thought there was a marker bulb too and the led strip was spliced in somehow

image.jpg image.jpg So I was checking out my headlights tonight and putting a bead of silicone around the outside and I noticed that the one that goes on the right side, the projector inside will clunk a little if you shake the housing so I looked at the projector closer and the one on the right side is pushed up against the plastic that surrounds it where the one on the left side, there’s a gap in between the housing plastic and the projector and doesn’t clunk at all. Then I took off the rubber grinder on the back and I can physically move the projector up and down just a little bit with my fingers... has anyone else experienced this? Top pic is the left housing, bottom is right. Do y’all think they just need to be adjusted?

    EDIT:
So I adjusted the right housing to make the projector point down more and it started opening up a gap between the projector and the plastic housing, and now the clunking has gone away. I guess one of them is just really out of alignment. I’m going to proceed with the silicone and install them when I get a chance and go from there.

Now that I have the headlights in with very “white” looking light with the PIAA bulbs, I need to do something about the yellow OEM light from the fog lights. I could buy better bulbs, but was wondering if anyone knows anything about the LED lights below. The big draw for me is that the bright halogen bulbs burn out quickly. I was thinking these might last longer, and they’re only like $90. Good PIAA bulbs will be $70 and need to be replaced often.

You could get a less bright bulb in just a different color.
