Hi, i'm new to the Tacoma World. I am driving a 2007 Toyota Tacoma TRD with 285/75 (32.8in) tires. I have aftermarket fender flares and of course, I would like the tires to have a little more stance so the truck doesn't look so top heavy. The question is, how wide of a spacer can I install with the least amount of rubbing? Thank you

that's kind of a trial and error thing. usually the farther your tires stick out the more your going to rub when your full lock. I wouldn't go more than 1.25 inches on a spacer though.

Thanks, any recommendations on quality wheel spacers that will not leave me broke? Brand names, materials? I've seen a lot that say made of Aerospace grade billet aluminum. if i'm not mistaking, there isn't anything special about it..

Spidertrax makes good wheel spacers. I would not cheap out on wheel spacers because if you end up with a problem from them, it will end up costing more.
I'm running Spidertrax with no issues.

I’m about to install some spidertrax. Can you see them once installed? My truck is black and I don’t want to see the blue!

Thanks for responding. Was worried about that. I’m going to keep my stock wheels.

Any thoughts on BORA .75-1.0 vs Spidertrax 1.25... One better than the other?

There is no 1.75 and no they are both good spacers. I’ve had both brands and never had any issues.

I attempted to switch them out but they are barely rubbing and going need a spacer. I have heard and read both good things about both brands, just don't want them sticking out way past flares. You are correct my friend, mistype on my end!

You can get Bora spacers from .5"-2.0"

    The
The big question is what wheels do you have what is their backspacing or offset etc. Once you know those things it's quite easy to do the math to figure out how much spacer you need to give you the stance you're looking for

Yeah unfortunately I do not know the back space. Bought from a buddy of mine to replace stock. Below are pictures of stock wheels on truck and the black ones I want to put on. I believe they are Baja with a 5 or 5.5 backspace. I just dont want them sticking far out.

1” bora spacers will work great! Or a 1.25 will be fine as well
