I was outside of Douglas, Wyoming a few winters ago and it got down to -42. We had to shut the rig down and just follow every single hose on location with steam lines to try and keep things from freezing. About two months later I moved home cause that’s just not right haha.

Ahh gotcha haha I don't mind snow. Its the winds out here that get you. They don't service the roads out here very well and don't salt and lightly sand. Makes the highways very dangerous and icy.

So now that I'm on the western side of the state I think I should do more exploring over here. Is there anything worth checking out down by Boundary Peak? On the map not much of that area is Nevada. I won't go into CA so don't bother adding anything over there. If you don't want to put it out on the open forum please feel free to pm me.
    Thanks!

Boundary is a fun hike if you’re into that sort of thing. There’s a few hot springs down there worth checking out. Coyote Pass is a fun little drive through a not very well travelled area with some cool cabins and cliffs. I’ve heard the Old School Bar in Silver Peak is a trip but haven’t been able to check it out. The Tonopah Brewery is actually pretty damn good. There’s the International Car Forest of the Last Church which is pretty strange. There’s a lot to see and do for sure.

I'm at soccer practice with my kids right now. Doesn't get over until 7:30pm. If they are still stuck I can roll out after I drop them off at home.
