It is a permaban. He is gone and a lot of people liked that decision.
People didn't even want to post because he would just come in and shit on the thread. When countered with logic, he would just put you on "ignore" and keep posting crap. A true internet bully in every way. This forum is much more pleasant now than it was. Seriously, he had 12K posts in one year and 99% of them were negative.
Yes, peoole have problems. Yes, some of the trucks have issues but dang man, not all of them!
And he has tried to come back under different names. The mods here do a great job of keeping that from happening and walking that fine line of deciding when to let stuff go and when to shut it (or the person) down.

Yeah, ImIImI guess it was to help it meet a very narrow test criteria for CAFE numbers, but it was not a good choice for the overall driving experience. Simply having 4.30s in the AT would have prevented probably 50-75% o the shifting complaints. Even with 4.88s the ATs still have a taller totally final drive than the MTs. In fact if you put 5.29s in the AT that would essentially give you the same final drive ratio as the MT.

Well if you are 4x4 you have to do front and rear and it's about $2k. The only aftearket option at the moment is 4.88 if you have a rear locking diff. You could do 4.30 factory gears from.Toyoya, but those parts would be stupid expensive. If you don't have the diff locker then you have th
About $2k difficult in parts and labor...

Yeah, it's plug and play. The link below is a thread that provides the part numbers so you can order it separately. You save about $150 that way. Also, just run your factory air filter and not an oiled one. Will run much better that way.
