Any thoughts on BORA .75-1.0 vs Spidertrax 1.25... One better than the other? Putting these black TRD wheels on below and need a spacer, really don't feel like trail and error right now any suggestion and greatly appreciated!

I have a 1.25 Spidertraxx. they are both good companies. I like the stance of the 1.25, puts the tires even with my fenders and even gives just a tiny bit of poke but I also have a 2nd gen. but company wise, ur good either way. thickness all comes down to personal preference. what are the specs on ur OEM rims? what kind of stance would u like to achieve?

I honestly dont know the specs on the OEM wheels but found the specs for the black Baja wheels. I recently tried to mount the black ones and they barley rubbed on the inside. I dont want them sticking out much more then they are now in the pic below. I think the brands are good either way, Bora or ST. Just trying to decide on .75, 1.0, or 1.25.

yeah those black ones u linked have a 5'' back spacing which is terrible hahaha normally you want at most a 4.25''. I will see if I can find the specs on the oem first gen wheels u have and gauge the size of spacer u need to retain factory stance

    Lol imagine that!

This is what I am finding... So 15mm difference?

    Tacoma OEM (silver powder coated)
    - 16x7
    - 15mm offset

Tacoma Gloss Black Baja Alloy Wheels
    - 16" x 7"
    - 30mm offset

so that's a 4.5 BS on ur OEM Rims vs the 5'' for the baja so a .5 spacer would put u at factory stance

That being said the BORA .75 would work and put me just a bit outside of factory stance. Correct?

yeah, it would give you 4.25 inches of back spacing, pushing ur wheel further out then the factory set up by .25''.

4.25 is a good BS to have if u want to run bigger tires as well, its ideal on the 2nd gens for running 285/70/17's

Awesome man! I will go with that then.

Yeah once these tires run wear down I am planning to go up a size.

It currently has a 2 inch RevTeh (block) suspension lift on it would planning to do a 3" maybe ToyTech in the future. When needs new rubbers. Sincerely thanks for the info! You have been the first to give me good, detailed info!

I recently ordered BORAs and wasn't very happy. Took about 6-7 weeks to arrive and they were missing 1 lug nug. So I have a wheel rolling on 5 lugs instead of 6. Tried contacting them, talked to Lenny on the phone and he said I'd get a new lug nut in the mail. That was 2 weeks ago and haven't gotten anything. I'd 100% go Spidertrax if I had to do it again.
