If you pre-ordered the tune and didn't know about this thread I could see there being more questions about where the tune hardware is at but IMO, anyone who knows about this thread should know that it's still a work in progress and that the time from order to the tune being on the truck could be over a month.

I ordered on the 17th. I've been keeping up with the thread so I have no need to ask when I will receive my tune because Mat has answered many, many times that it's in the works.

Maybe Mat should add (ships in 4-8 weeks) to the order page for those who think they are buying a finalized product that's ready to be shipped to them within a couple of weeks.

 

Matt has been working his butt off on these tunes. I think everyone needs a clam moment.

Yes, Matt could be more clean on shipping dates, sending out dongle activation keys, and communicating, but he IS getting to it. Hell, it took a week from when he created the shipping label for my kit till it actually shiped due to some shipping issues with fedex/ ups.

Dude, thanks for your hard work! You have been busting your butt for us and I personally appreciate it. Keep up the good work and dont let these Debbie downers sway your hard work or your efforts on this forum. I personally look forward to your your posts as they are often funny yet to the point on projects your are working on.

Has nothing to do with greed. Last person who worked alongside me is now my competitor in another market.

And before someone says NCA NDA... doesn't hold up in this market. Non competes are practically illegal in california

Just got done doing a re-flash up to 103.c, 20 minute warm up from a cold engine right after completing the flash. This tune just keeps getting better, the off idle/low speed hiccup between 1st/2nd seems to be gone,throttle response and power are smooth and linear. Took my grandson with me on the test drive he said it sounds like a race car now.

 

Hire a hot chick for $15/hr to answer emails and ship stuff. Pay her $20 if she’s in a bikini.

I understand software is an ongoing development. I was under the impression that the hardware part was figured out.

You only need someone to handle your logistics not the tuning. If you had someone who can handle your shipping, ordering, and maybe some email responses you’d be a lot better off. I hear what your saying Mat but let’s be realistic, your operation is growing bigger than can be managed.

This is just my opinion looking at this from the outside.
Either way you’re still a cool dude to do business with in my book and you still make a great product.

 

I’m sure Mat’s wife would be thrilled to see this post.

 

There has to be a few guys in his neck of the woods that would be willing to put in a few hours a week to help. I would offer if I were in Cali.

 

This is exactly what I thought. He just needs someone to handle the shipping department without getting involved in the technical part. However, It’s tough to get someone for technical support because they would need to know more.

I’m pretty sure he’s well aware of that and has a reason not to do it. It’s just kinda hurting his customer service reputation a bit.

 

She could be that hot chick, but would probably want more than $15/hr.
