Two more Maui Bucks

SWEET! What kind of deer are those?

They look like they are still in velvet, when did the season open?

 

They are Axis Deer...NO seasons here, Year round killing

 

Do you need a license? If so how much for out of state.

Rifle? Or bow?

 

I dont use a license cuz I usually hunt on private land, Not to sure about the out of state thing, Got it with my brand new weatherby 06.

I spend a couple of weeks in Maui every year, I'd love to blast one of those deer but I don't know anyone to hunt with. Looks like you spearfish as well, that's one of my main hobbies here in Oregon.

I've never seen so many awesome Tacomas as I do in Maui. They are everywhere over there.

 

Well let me know when your coming back and maybe we can get you a Buck or some nice fish.

awesome always wanted to hunt axis deer for some reason. but hawaii doesnt like me well when i went there.

went there with family for my brothers senior trip as soon as we got there i was sick on the main island went to the hospital then ended up being sick for the 3 weeks we were there

 

Me too, Went and got me a hoyt but I couldnt make it happen, Got alot of goats and pigs though.

 

Congrats! The year round hunting for deer blows my mind! I sold my Weatherby '06 a few months ago to fund another AR but what a great rifle that was.

 

Hoyt's are f'ing sweet bows, i love mine. pigs and goats with a bow would be fun to!!!!!!! lets see some pictures of the pigs and goats. i spent 6 weeks working on Kauai (back in 1995) and i wish i would have had time or known that there was good hunting i would have tried to have gone every night!!!!

 

If Im not mistaken I think Kauai has Redtail Deer, Along with the Goats and Pigs...Ill get some pics up as soon as I can find um.
