i would say 4lo with Trac is all I’ll need for any off roading I do. If I do more of it and get real into it, I’ll spend more on a locker and will let you OR guys tell me “told you so”. Promise.

Funny story today. My dad has a 2011 frontier 4x4 sl v6. I was trying to explain how 4x4 works and traction control with the alsd we both (I think) have and then tried to explain how lockers work. He said he thought 4x4 meant all four wheels get power equally at the same time. I explained no, that would be if you had front and rear lockers going at the same time lol.

Alright, so I just read through the last few pages. It seems like the OP made his decision a few pages ago, but a few of you guys keep implying that the off road is the better buy.

I know its hard to accept, but it's his money. He likes the sport....nothing wrong with that. Don't let that bother you so much.

Now I’m scared. Does it not fit, or just a tight fit? I went off YouTube vids that used my exact car seat.

Why is it hard to accept I value the looks without spending time finding trades and take offs or getting things painted over a locker and off road suspension? But thanks I think you’re right. Where are all the sport guys to help me here? Lol.

This forum def is off road prominent

It's pretty obvious that it's hard for some of these guys to accept that anyone would buy a sport over the off road. In my opinion, either option is the right option.

They just need to get over it....if I remember correctly Toyota sells more sports than offroads.

Look, I get that from a pure value the OR is better. But some value other things over others.

All 4x4 options are the best option. Everything else is just details.

Air locker with standalone fillable air reservoir is the most bullet proof set up in existence.

Right....the same information has been regurgitated multiple times.

    OR...better value...hood scoop vs locker...etc etc..

You've now processed that info and applied those facts and opinions to YOUR applications. Conclusion being sport over the off road.

    Glad you made your decision.

Currently using a rear facing car seat in my truck....Have to push the front seat up a bit for it to work, but it's not too bad.

Car seat model is the nuna pipa.

I may have misguided you. It’s me the wife and my 2 year old. She has a civic and me now the taco. I want a 4x4 truck and no family vehicle. We already have the civic. Taco is daddy’s toy
