Shell is gone, bumper will be off next week, and then dropping the truck off for a couple days for gears. It’s a busy/sad few days coming up this week! Got my new plates and registration handled today, $500 later :censored:

Got one of my Plano’s mounted and Treds on the roof. Then went and found a tiny bit of fresh snow to take my brothers dogs out in for a bit.

I just drilled four hole in it and ran 1 inch carriage bolts through the bottom and secured them with a large washer and nylock nut. Once I know it’s permanent I’ll shorten the bolts a little and silicone the holes.

Pulled off the bumper for some Relentless love and the skids so that the shop doing my gears didn’t charge their crazy rate to do so. The front came up a little over an inch with all the weight removed. Gunna look a little funny for the next few weeks.

Day 4 without the truck while gears and locker are going in. Shop told me 2 days for everything. Tried to call yesterday evening for an update but no answer. No call back so far today. Shitty CS really sucks. And having to get rides everywhere :annoyed:

Weird, while we called for info each time we never hit a VM. Always answered the phone for us.

Anyways, your bumper should be coated monday from what the coater told me today so at least you'll have that back when you get the truck

I called at like 5:05 and they said they’re open till 5:30 so I wasn’t surprised to get voicemail but I thought they’d call back by now but oh well. I’ll try again later today.

That’s something to banana dance about! WOOHOO! :bananadance::bananadance::bananadance:

Update: shop said the master install kit came with the wrong bearings apparently? So they ordered some which we also wrong. Finally they got the right ones this morning and are almost ready to lower it back down. But then they still have to wire in the locker. So the two day job has taken four being pushed possibly into five and no truck for the weekend :bananadead:

Mine is a tennis ball nut! Anywhere we went, she would always find a tennis ball. Didn't matter if it was in the middle of the desert, up in the mountains, the beach, the park, or at a buddies house. She would find one without a doubt. She could also catch a fast ball thrown straight at her. Best dog I've had. And very affectionate and loving unless you were on her "list" and then you better watch your heels and bottoms of your pants because she would be nipping and tugging and trying to heard you up. Funny ass shit. My buddy Timmy was always on her "list".

@MotoEd hopefully mine will be that smart! He seems super playful already so I have a feeling he’ll get there, but first we’ve gotta get through the potty training weeks :crapstorm:

Picked up the truck on Monday, gears and locker was wayyy more than what they quoted me so I wasn’t too happy about that. But after getting it back I went straight to Relentless to pick up the bumper from powder and a little more metal. It looks a million times better with a professional powder coat versus the truck bed liner. I learned my lesson on that one haha.

The truck definitely feels a lot better with the new gears, I drive up 395 N every day and it’s night and day difference so overall I’m happy with it. Haven’t engaged the rear locker yet but I used the quick connect air hose to blow off snow the other morning because why not.

My work let me use the shop to get everything back on out of the snow which was awesome. She’ll be sitting like this till the bed rack and HC rear are done and I love it

Snapped a picture of the truck next to the big rig, it’s heading down to Las Vegas on Monday. Drilling a 32” hole 1100’ down for city water. Hopefully I’ll head down in a few weeks and wrap things up.

Headlights look awesome, I just did the BHLM. I may do another set with an orange halo. What size ring did you use? Also, how are your front turn signals on with DRLs?
