Sounds great but I'm on my phone. Stupid internet is still out.
I'm curious about sound cloud. How large of file can you upload and in what format?
I run l/r rca strait into my computer from tascam dp02cf and use audacity and save as wma or mp3.

SoundCloud shouldn't be an issue. I usually upload uncompressed WAV files.

Just reading up on it as well 2x close Mic recording tips. I barely use my peavey xxl head and 4x12 for recording. It's just to damn loud in the house.
Instead I just use a boss me33 multieffects pedal into my tascam. Sounds ok but not ideal.

you could build an isolation cab for pretty cheap. I used to use one before we found a jam room.

Tried sound cloud for the 1st time. Something I put together with toontracks a while back. Have some other as well.

Edit: Forgot I didnt put Bass in this song. ooops.

Edit, Edit: Didnt mean for those 2 songs to be linked together, the other one was for a friend who likes to listen to my crappy arrangements. How do I link just the song and not my entire library?

my curiosity is peaked, please let us know how you like it. I'm currently looking to replace a fender hot rod deville 4x10 and this might be a good option. Looking for lighter (50lbs or under) three channels, and tube but would consider solid state. Needs to be able to gig as I play out about once a month.

    Well,
He just marked it as "sold" on fb marketplace.
He said 2 other guys called about but seemed very iffy. I guess one of them stepped up to the plate.

Meanwhile, I've been on Sweetwaters website and have several of the 2x12's from a variety of manufacturers. The one that has really peaked my interest is the new Roland jc-40 with 2x10's.
The reviews are fantastic. I'm just hesitant to spend that kind of money. ($600).

The fender champion 100 2x12 seems more in my budget at $350 but it has all that modeling stuff in it. Not sure I want that in an amp.

I played a Blackstar when I was up there a few weeks back that sounded amazing and it was a modeling amp. But I forgot the model # and they all look the same to me.

I shuffled through a lot of amps in my early 20s looking for that *magic sound*. Eventually I bought a Fender DRRI and never sold it. Only thing I've down to it is swap out the rectifier tube. I've had it twelve years. Toured with it for five years. Never let me down.

2x10 tube guitar amps sound so tight. Really great post-punk sound. I love the sound. I've considered converting my 1x12 DRRI over to a 2x10 baffle.

ive been all over the place with replacing the hotrod deville....Mesa boogie, Hughes & Kettner, etc. Ive played black star, orange, vox and each one had their advantages, but they did not really suit what I am looking for nor came close to the hotrod deville. I'm willing to fork out cash for the right amp, just haven't quite zeroed in on the right one. If I could find a shop that had H&K and mesa's in stock, hmmmmm....????

Not a fan of amps that do modeling...

I did a few you tube video reviews and that frontman and it sounds pretty good...the DRRI's are awesome too..and would consider if I could find one in good shape at a good price..

It's hard to beat the Hot Rod line. I had a Hot Rod Deville but it was too much wattage and too much weight. I sold it and bought the 1x12 DRRI. I bought my brother a 1x12 Hot Rod Deluxe. It was a fantastic amp. You can't beat them for value, reliability, and tone. They're the modern working man's amp. Even the 1x12 Deluxe's are pretty heavy since they're made of particle board. If I was starting all over I'd go for a '90s tweed Fender Blues Deluxe. Essentially the same as the Hot Rod Deluxe save for aesthetics and a minor circuitry tweak, IIRC. There's just something wonderfully skronky when they bottom out.

My only worry with the fender frontman 2x12 was how it would respond to my multi effects pedal.
The peavey 6505+ is something I may look into since I'm usually playing heavy stuff anyway.

My concern with ordering a tube amp from Sweetwater is possible damage to the tubes during shipping. Will I have to have them rebiased after being beat around for 700 miles?

I supposed I could pick it up when I'm up home in May but I was planning on jamming with my buddy on the way up and he's 3 hrs south of my folks/Sweetwater. So I won't have an amp until I come back south.

The frontman is an entry level amp. It's probably ok for jamming but not a gigging amp. I was always weary of gigging with circuit based amps. I carried a small backup on tour in case my DRRI failed, but it never happened.
