Way better as in easier to use for the everyday person? Do you lose some aspects of TunerPro that made it easier for an actual shop to use?

You could run the 87 Tune. I only ran for a short time but with the 87 Tune but With the 91 Tune I get better mpg than before I had a tune so $$$ wise it may be the same. 87 Tune felt really good too but didn’t test long enough to get a good mpg test.

Like some of you I also have a N/A daily driver. All I have is a 2.5" lift, and I'm on 265/75 Duratracs. I also have URD equal length headers, y pipe, and catback exhaust. Do you guys think it would be worth it to get this tuner? Can you switch tunes if I wanted to run 87 octane one tank and 91 on another tank? Still trying to figure out the pros and cons of a tuner with my setup

I think you will like it. It’s not a flip of a switch and takes about 5 minutes to flash to a different tune. I have no power goodies and I see a difference. I do have armor and other weight. It does improve shift points and drives smoother.

    Question.

What makes a tuner a DIY tuner vs a normal non- DIY tuner?

DYI you do your own tuning with his software, you don’t get pre-made Tune by Matt. The handheld non-DYI Matt sends you 87 and 91 tines and all you do is flash no extra changes on the end user.

Guess I'll figure that out once my ECU is supported then.

Any updates on the details of what the tunes do for each octane level and where the tunes will be improving in future updates? A 93 performance tune would be a nice touch as well. Kinda want to know more in detail of the shift map and timing changes as well as possible mpg gains for a stock truck for a base line. I'm just waiting on hard claims and differences before I pull the trigger. I'm not the wealthiest individual unfortunately.

The handheld stays attached to the truck correct?
Does it display Transmission temps? Or would you have to get an OBD splitter to run the Handheld +scangauge.
While I understand it changes shift points, I would like to know how it affects trans temps specifically for DD and towing

No need to leave the handheld attached after flashing. It does contain added PID's and should be able to monitor anything a scanguage can.

I don’t leave it attatxhed. If you have a scan gauge use that. I have a WiFi reader and using ODB Fusion to monitor when I want to take a look.

You guys can also monitor PIDS, live data etc on the handheld, and customize it with gauges and graphs

@OVTune I have 304A3000 as well. If you can get this ID setup, you've got another buyer.

Just curious, has anyone been monitoring their A/F ratios before and after these tunes? I wonder just how dialed in they are for things like altitude, etc?
