SF Bay Area Sale only - For sale is a custom bed rack for a 2005-2015 Toyota Tacoma. It is designed to carry a Rooftop Tent and other gear above the bed of a Tacoma.

What's special about it is the height is perfect so it does not obstruct rear window vision. It is right on the window line so it's not too high either. And even better, the height is designed so the tailgate can carry up to 6 bikes of any wheelsize and still clear the rack when used with a 6-foot bed truck
    [IMG]

The rack is also modular so the two crossbars can be removed independently. This can be very handy hauling huge items without having to remove the whole rack. The rack can be disassembled into four pieces and lay completely flat so it can be stored neatly without requiring much space.

The rack is compatible with 2005-2015 Tacomas only as it fastens to the factory rails and can be slid back and forth for positioning. The rack is supported by the bed sides completely so no load is put on the rails. There is no space taken on the pickup bed as well. No holes have to be drilled to install.

All the hardware is included and only takes a few minutes to install. The rack is powdercoated textured black so it is fully protected from the elements.

The rack was hand-built by Randybuilt Industries and the pipes were perfectly bent to have the correct bends and angles to complement the truck. Welds are very good indeed and we'll include photos before the rack was powdercoated. The rack cost $1000 to build in labor and materials. Powdercoating cost $200 for a total of $1200.

We previously had the Thule rack system on the truck for $900 but it was just too high and ugly. It was wobbly too. The AllPro modular system is $900 before powdercoating but it just huge and too long that it takes up the tailgate usability with bikes.

    Bigger Taller Slower
That's the preferred one for later 2nd gens, the 12+ sticks out an extra few inches and has higher kinda goofy looking bars. Tempting. Some mods required to make it fit on a 15, nothing major. If I wasn't moving would probably jump on this. They are 1060$ delivered brand new from bumpersuperstore.com so the price with lights is good.
