Cool, always a good feeling to get something back on track.

Same boat here sort of, all I gotta do is work out little minor details and trim and splice wires and I should have my switch pros up and running.

Speaking of which man FJ people are crazy, they're using water-tight plastic compression bushings to go through their firewalls:

Just had a conversation with my dad. He's looking to get a 3/4 ton and a travel trailer. More than likely not a 5th wheel but a bumper pull. Probably around 25'. The trailer thing he has figured out but he doesn't know much about what truck he wants. He's looking for a diesel but is wanting to stay away from Ford. So that leaves Chevy, GMC and Dodge. He wants to buy used but nothing older than a 2015. I've never followed up on diesel trends or reliability between the brand's on this size of trucks. So what do you guys think?

The new chevys and dodge are both great motors.... I'm not a fan of the trannies behind the Cummins unless it's a manual. Both overall are solid choices.

I agree with you Just from reputations of the Cummins and Duramax that they are solid engines. I did forget to mention he is wanting 4x4 and an auto.

I'm going down a rabbit hole I should not have gone down...

This would require me to depin & repin the switch pros connector but would allow me to easily run behind the booster, is waterproof, and would provide strain relief for a 90 degree turn in that close clearance.

Dodge tends to end up on the bottom of the heap for reliability in terms of trucks, but I can't say I know a whole lot about big ass diesels.

Well after the passenger side, took a little break and then went back and did the drivers side.

I’ll probably postpone the leaf packs for another day unless I’m feeling super ambitious tomorrow but I’ll swap out the rear shocks at least.

I got Cali lean bad right now.

I know all you guys sporting King/Fox 2.5” are used to it but I was impressed with how much more stout the TRD Pro suspension is compared to the stock OR Bilsteins.

So far, it’s been $600 well spent. I’ll see how tomorrow goes.

If any of you are interested my pre-lift measurements were:

    Drivers Front: 19”
    Passenger Front: 19.75”
    Both Rear: 20”

    Post Front Lift:
    Drivers Front: 22”
    Passenger Front: 22.5”

    Mall landscaping pin stripes.
Have him look at the Coachmen Apex series. All aluminum construction with Azdel composite walls and roof. The heaviest 25 footer in that line is 4986 lbs unloaded. That would leave him a lot of wiggle room on the truck requirements.

How many of you night shift guys swap back and forth on sleeping schedule?

I do not but a few of my co-workers do and I dont know how they manage. That's like a recipe for shift work sleep disorder

I’ve done it here and there for a few months at a time but never long term. I use to stay up all day on my last day of work, so I could get a normal night sleep with my wife, and on work days I’d sleep when I got home.

    Will do!

It was kinda of a last minute thing I started yesterday around 7pm otherwise I would’ve given you a hollar....was just going to leave it for another couple of weeks but then changed my mind.

I still need to do the UCA and hammer hangers in a few weeks +\- ECGS bearing.
