    Somewhere in the Mojave Desert...
    Vehicle:
    2017 Tacoma OR 4x4 (formerly a 1998 SR5 PU, 2002 OR 4x4, 1995 4x4 4Runner, 1985 4x4 Toy PU) ... and RIP’s (rust in pieces) to a Bronco II 4x4 & S10 Blazer 4x4
I added a single AAL and kept my original springs and my overload leaf, too. Extra weight includes a heavy cap, sliders and RTT, plus an occasional travel trailer.

I added a @HeadStrong Off-Road single leaf Deaver and it rides well on and off road- a little stiffer than original but not as much as the stock ride of my 2002 4x4. I also did add 5100’s.

All around- lifted about 1.25” overall. I also kept original coils in front.

I'd get the longer Bilstein 5100 so you don't overextend the stock shocks. They're fairly inexpensive.

I have a cap and headstrong 3 leaf Aal and it feels good. I do have the TRD Pro 2015 shocks so their comparable to 5160 Bilsteins
