I haven’t received gasshole yet, but checked my stant 10504, and the threads go all the way to the base, so I guess it won’t fit without some modification

What model STANT? I'm gonna have to make a revised version that has modeled threads if that's the case. The hole is made for a press fit(why it's tapered) so no matter what the STANT wont work; because it has threads all the way to the end.

@mesojdm I have the 10504, and it does have a bit of flat before the threads (not sure why others don't) but if you do make a threaded Gasshole - I'd buy it! I rolled the dice getting the original but I liked the concept so much I had to pull the trigger:quickdraw:

You have a great product here. One suggestion for you . It seems there is a manufacturing difference in one gas door to another and it is most likely just the acceptable tolerance . Maybe just making the screw hole a slot would make it so all will fit perfectly and be able to make sure they all slide fully under the end door ridge.
I like the idea of it being threaded for the Slant cap . Mine fits in but not very far. I will have to get gas a few times to see it is a problem .
Thanks again . I have dropped my locking cap a couple times as it rolled off the pump, and left it at the pump once . I needed a place to put it so I do not forget it .

Are you saying a horizontal or vertical slot?

There is not a day that goes by and I get more and more disappointed with this truck. I guess that quarter in added metal to add that to the fuel door busted Toyota’s budget?

Some of the crap engineering on this truck was obviously domestically designed. My Miata at half the price has a damn hook.

I guess Toyota R & D did the math and it wasn’t warranted? If you ever have a chance you should check out the demographics on the truck. Mind blowing.

Horizontal . Edit . There is a pic of one installed that you commented on that it did not look seated. That was what was happening to mine until I elongated the hole about .06 towards the ridged end .

 My wife took my truck this morning for some unknown reason. Not sure how she found my keys, but anyway. She sent me a text laughing that SHE got to use MY Gasshole before me! WTH?Attach3702_20180304_092359.jpg
