I recently got a new to me Softopper. I'm really digging it!
    IMG_1157.jpg
    Quick 2 questions:
Is your top this much narrower than your cab?
    IMG_1164.jpg IMG_1167.jpg
Also, how did y'all attach it to the tailgate on a 2nd gen? The Velcro on my rear window lands half on the tailgate cover thing and half on the tailgate. It doesn't seem it'll attach firmly. Thanks!

I have the bar that came with it in it. Are you saying you used a heavier bar which makes there no need for the Velcro? Thanks.

Mine never came with a bar in the flap. So I used that instead. It keeps the flap down and I've never had an issue with it

Mine has a bar, about 3" from the bottom of the back window, that locks into side brackets. Below that is a flap that's about 3" long that flops in the wind.

Oh yeah that bar. I have that. I cut a slit in the portion where the Velcro is. I then put a bar in there and super glued it back.

I've seen a few guys post about bedracks over softoppers. SOS offroad concepts makes them and are fully customizable. SOS is a vendor on TW. They do not fold up under the rack but do roll up on sides and back. I love mine!IMG_20171227_165930_458.jpg

Im getting around 15 in town 12 in the mountains. I have a scan gauge coming. I will get you some exact numbers. Honestly I don't really notice it that much unless the wind is blowing hard.
